@darant  Yea, try to reboot the router after you change the bands? (not sure if it helps, but worth a shot). Otherwise it could be that the tower is simply deciding to give you 3,3. I was told by one of the engineers that when you choose the bands, the router simply tells the tower which bands it supports, and the tower chooses which bands to give it. So it could also be that, or that EE only supports a specific set of band combinations.

@john.awad Rebooted, still 3,3 - The speeds and latency are good enough and I have cancelled te Three SIM contract and signed up for the ee unlimted.. I have also signed signed up for Vodfone home BB whcih will be going back..

Over the weekend, I have also bought the Teltonika RUT950 & RUT955 to test!

I have spent 100's on decent BB!

The plan is:

Router in the loft with the Omni directional antenna.

Power Line from the router to the donwstairs powerline / switch (TV, media) etc.

Cable connect to a POE switch for the CCTV.

All the tests I have shared has been via Wifi.. I have yet to hardwire test it.

I am tempted to try the Teltonika RUT950 & RUT955 but if TPL finally decide the new FW is good to go, that might save me £100's and mean I dont sell on all my TPL kit!

@Kevin_Z

Can we expect any official statement about the problem? When can customers have working solution for this problem?

I'm sure many of would appreciate access to the beta firmware. If you're reading this thread you're having issues with the router/speed/limited firmware. I for example struggle to get acceptable speed using Three UK's network. Strangely my phone has no issues picking up 4G+ with excellent speed (80+ download) using the same SIM card...
