Implemented No openvpn client option on Archer AX11000?

Hello,
just found out that my newly bought Archer AX11000 router does not have an option to setup an openvpn client to ExpressVPN.
What a huge dissapointment.
My previous router was een Assus and with this router (I think with every Assus router ) it was possible to do so, but it was 2,5 years old so not powerfull enough to have a vpn tunnel fast enough.
That is why I bought this router for 373 euros, approx $400!
Of course you can say, if I informed myself good enough I would have known.
But unfortunatly I didn't. Well, at least not enough.
So my request to TP-Link is, can you please produce a firmware update which add this openvpn client option!
If this will not happen I'm forced to sell this router with a loss and buy an Assus router again and never switch to another brand again!

We currently have some models that support VPN Client already, such as Archer AX20, AX21, and AX90, so you can check if you can replace the AX11000 with one of these models, if you just bought it:

We cannot provide an ETA now whether or when will the AX11000 add the support for VPN Client, but our of your opinions and feedback had been forwarded to the related team. You can keep an eye on your router web GUI/Tether app or the official website for any firmware updates.

This is a feature I'd like to have / request as well.
Being that this was the top TPLINK router (or at least one of them)- I'd like to see TPLink supporting this feature as possible!

Thanks for adding your voice. We have been noted that and tried to push the R & D to add the VPN Client feature. While we cannot provide you an ETA now as we don't get an update from them yet.
I will update here once the VPN Client is available on the AX11000, you can also pay attention to the official websites for any updates.

@Cyberlexie My solution is to return this router to the store and get a netgear that supports an Express vpn client. Job done.

@SkyHeart Also, I don't believe that DD-Wrt is available for this router. We are stuck with the kiddy interface from TP-Link.
