@Kathy_Z i found the solution. The driver provided is only work for T6E V2. Mine was T6E V1. Went to service center and they replace mine with V2 and now its work fine.

Hi there,

I've followed the steps that you have recommended updating the driver to 7.35.351.0 (17/10/2016) but I'm still getting the same issue as the OP.

I can see the available networks but it still won't connect to my win10 OS pc.

The card is Version 1.1

Using 'netsh wlan show wlanreport' in cmd show me the following: - 11:58:54 = WLAN AutoConfig servicer started a connection to a wireless network. - 11:59:09 = Wireless network association started. - 11:59:12 = WLAN Autoconfig service failed to connect to a wireless network. - 11:59:12 = WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped. - 11:59:12 = CDE reported an L2 adapter removal. - 11:59:13 = WLAN Extensibility Module has successfully started. - 11:59:13 = CDE reported an L2 adapter arrival. I hope this helps in the diagnosis. -

I have the same problem on win10 with t6e but only when its 1600x1200 resolution. This is strange but when i change my resolution to 1980x1080 or any  different resolution it works fine xd.

Accualy i don’t have router with 5ghz. But today i will get archer c80 and try 5ghz . My adapter connected to 2.4 GHz wifi very well on 1980x1080 resolution. But when i turn on CS:GO with 1600x1200 resolution i cant connect to internet. I thinked i was csgo problem but when i exit the game. And change resolution on pulpit in Windows 10 to 1600x1200 problem was the same. So its Windows 10 problem . Adapter work fine on 2.4 GHz on every resolution without 1600x1200. When i am connected to wifi and change resolution to 1600x1200 i get information in Windows 10 „no internet”. When disconnect from wifi and try to reconnect i get information: „cannot connect to the wifi” When i will get the c80 i will try adapter on 5ghz

EDIT: Its strange now cuz i have new router archer c80 and when i change my resolution to 1600x1200 windows automatic connecting to 5ghz wifi and i have internet xd. But when on this resolution i am trying to connect to 2.4ghz wifi its still error on this resolution. Have you any idea what antennas should i buy cuz stock antennas are very bad. On stock antennas i have 100mb/s download on 5ghz but when i switch these antennas to noname 25cm long antennas i have accualy 300mb/s download

I notice something very similar with my 5ghz network... I have two monitors in my computer. My internet speed is 100Mbps. When I'm on my main monitor, download speed is full, it hits all the 100Mbs. But when I change to my secondary monitor, speed dramatically slow down. I'm literally running a speed test in both monitors. Main monitor gets full speed, while the speed test in the secondary monitor is so slow that is hitting kbps instead of mbps:

Main (full speed):

Secondary:

I'm on windows 10 pro 64bits, was in version 1909 but last night I updated to version 2004.

My adapter is new, version 1.0 or 1.1 (It it installed already so I don't remember what it said, but is definitely not v2) I installed it two days ago so I can't tell if this was working before.

Any other info that I can provide to help, just ask me. This is a very weird issue.

@Kathy_Z

Hi I dont know how to e-mail you. But I am also having trouble using my Archer T6E. In a nutshell, I purchased it in July, installed the adapter and the programs through the disk it came with...all was well.

I began having issues with my computer and called Dell customer support. Appeared to be software issues. I was advised to un-install and re-install Windows 10 and update everything. Having done all of that, when I tried to re-install the driver through the disk that was provided with my Archer T6E, my wireless internet does not work. It switches between "you're connected to the internet" to "you're connected to the wifi but you do not have internet" or something along those lines.

I've tried to follow your advice in this thread. I have also downloaded the most updated driver from this website https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-t6e/#Driver.

Nothing works. Last Friday, I tried to call the 24/7 customer support line on the box, and there was a "scheduled maintenance" that precluded anybody from being available to answer calls. It seems as though this thread is saying that the Archer T6E is not compatible with the new windows 10 updates??? Please help! I just purchased this. If I need to purchase a new one, please let me know ASAP. Thanks!

I am having the same issue. Since the latest windows update install OS build 19041.508 installed on 2020-09-12. I have been having a month of misery with this wifi card. It drops connectivity and won't make a connection.

This is particularly the case after the computer is inactive or sleep mode. It just won't reconnect.

I've followed the steps posted in this thread and others. Clean installed the drivers (auto + manually) multiple times. All my other devices can connect to my TP link Deco M5 hubs. I've tried flushdns, renew/release... I've tried registry approaches... I've changed the power modes (in other threads).

Rebooting the comp works, but that's not viable on regular basis. I can't lose all my work and hard boot everytime.

The screen resolution seem to work as a short term fix, not needing me to reboot the computer.

But even with these kind of fixes, my network speeds and connectivity are crap.

Something is going on between the drivers and windows.

Edit: screen resolution didn't work. The prior recovery of wifi connectivity might have been a coincidence. This is incredibly frustrating.
