Hi,
Unfortunately the router by default tries the best connection possible and will try to go via lte and only when it cannot get a lte connection, it will fall back to 3g. Depending on the usb dongle, you can force the usb device to only use 3g or lte by connecting the usb dingle straight onto the oc and using the Connection Manager of the device ie Huawei, and change the setting under the profile to lte only or 3g only. When connecting the usb dongle back to the roter, it will only use that type of connection.

... iam using Huntsman version, for two of my routers also .. but i have Q did you figure out how to switch from 3g to 4g versa via luci ? ...

Hi,

Huntsman will support Mode selection shortly. :)

Currently you can send the appropriate mode selection AT command via the ROOter modem interface.

Cheers

Huntsman 2013-05-12 New Luci GUI (SVN package update). Fixed the GB problem with Bandwidth Monitoring so the values are now correct. Support for the WDR4900, MR11U and MR3040V2 have been added. And the big one – display and selection of the modem's Cellular Mode so you can change to 2G, 3G or 4G, depending on the modem. This needs testing for all 4G modems just to make sure that the drop-down selection box is correct for that modem. If a modem doesn't support a particular mode then it won't appear. Also, newer Huawei modems need testing. Huawei uses two different AT Commands to display and select Cellular Mode, one for older modems and one for newer modems. I have tested the older version and it works. The newer version is untested but should work.

.... released for your viewing pleasure

m1155 - what kind of ISP do you have? I told earlier that some of ISP (3G and LTE) has access restriction on WAN address.

BASE (Belgium). The named it 3,75G because it's coverage isn't 100% jet.

I used the right external and internal port for remote desktop (3389) and the ip of the pc i wanted to access.

But when i wanna acces it with my ip form my isp it cant connect to it.

It does work locally when I type the external public  IP address from the tplink mr6400 4g router  currently firmware v5

If i check it of the port is open, i see its closed on overy ip adress that . https://gyazo.com/d66aec2b7541a238c55c75a9402aa7c3
