Dear all,

I need help to set up remote access to my HDD connected to my WDR4300, so I can always go online when I am out to retrieve the saved files in the HDD. However I have zero knowledge of network setting of the FTP servers, can anyone guide me along with the setting up? I can gain access when I am home and connected to the Wireless network, but I have no idea how to gain access remotely =(

it tells how to use the FTP sever on TL-WR1043ND, it should be the same as TL-WDR4300.

ahhhhh! but i dun have public ip address shown.. maybe because my ip address is assigned dynamically by ISP...

yep, i can access it from the LAN IP but not WAN IP =(

actually I have bridge the router to my other modem router, which its wireless capability has been disabled to avoid interference. could it be that my modem router's setting that is hindering the connection?

Do you have public IP address on WAN?
