@Roger.Rabbit

Hello,

Which firmware are you on now with the AX6000? Below is the latest beta firmware which may help, please give it a go:

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202007/20200713/ax6000v1_us-up-ver1-1-2-P3[20200709-rel81803]_sign_2020-07-10_10.57.45.zip

If this beta still doesn't help, please kindly verify if only the printer is disappearing from the network, is the printer connected to the 2.4G wireless of the AX6000?

Thanks.

@Kevin_Z

I'm not sure what network details you require?  The AX6000 is the primary router and connects directly by CAT6 cable to the fibre box.  There are 6 devices connected directly to the AX6000, one of which is the D-Link router which is about 30m away and is configured as an access point with a different name.

My study PC connects to the AX6000 via wireless using the TP-Link MU-MIMI USB adaptor.

When I start the PC in the study, I can see the 5G and 2.4G networks and can connect to either but there is no internet access.  I can also see the network provided by the D-Link router and can connect to it and get internet access albeit at a slower speed.

Usually after 10 to 15 minutes after being connected I then can get internet access from both the 2.4 and 5G networks from the AX6000, the 2.4G usually first then the 5G.  I tried to disable the antiviral programs in the AX6000 as well as the ax but it doesn't make a difference.

When I run the Win 10 64bit network troubleshooter it always suggests a network reset which does not resolve anything

@Kevin_Z I have gone through this thread and my issues still persist.

I did a firmware update and afterwards I noticed that my internet connection cuts off after a few hours. If I perform a reboot it becomes fine. I came on this thread and I downloaded the beta firmware hoping it would solve the problem. Nothing changed. Based on what I have read here I have disabled 5g wifi, I have disabled ax wifi, and still the router loses connection after a few mins/hrs.

Please I need help

@9jaNinja

Hi, thanks for bringing this up again.

What is the Wi-Fi LED of the Archer AX6000 when the Wi-Fi got disconnected? Can the devices still detect the Wi-Fi network then? Please try to customize the wireless settings, like wireless channel and channel width. For 2.4GHz, use channel 1, 6 or 11, channel width to 20MHz; for 5GHz, use channel 36, 40 or 44, channel width as 40MHz.

BTW, how many wireless devices are connected to the AX6000 most of the time, are they encountering the same disconnect issue at the same time? How about the wired deviced connected to the router, are they stable?

Please also refer to the below troubleshooting to narrow down the disconnect issue:

Hey Kevin. I am experiencing issues with slow WiFi on my AX6000. I downloaded that beta firmware but it did not resolve the issue. I also factory reset the device and that didn't fix it either. Can you provide me a newer beta firmware to upgrade to? I am looking for one that is newer as of Sept/Oct 2020.

@CyberNinja15

Hello, the beta firmware is not for the slow speed issue on the AX6000, so it may not work for you.

Please help verify some details and we will try to fix it together:

1. May I know who is your ISP? What is the speed you can get when you connect a computer directly to the modem?

2. Without any devices connected, please connect one computer to the AX6000 directly and go to speedtest to run the test for 3 times and show us the screenshots of the test results.

And please tell me the wired link speed at that time, how to get that? You can refer to the below link.
https://www.tp-link.com/faq-2265.html

3. Do you enable any QoS setting on the router? Kindly show me the QoS setting page on your AX6000, try to disable it then check again.

4. You can refer to the below instruction to narrow down the issue as well.
https://www.tp-link.com/faq-2170.html

Good day.
