Hi there.

I'm new to the community and I’ve already view a lot of interesting threads, but I didn't find one that answered my doubt.

 

I've just acquired a TL-PA7017P KIT and now I wanted to connect it do a wifi router to gain wifi capability. 

 

In another hand, and if not possible, I would like to know if I could connect my TL-PA7017P KIT to an TL-WPA8630P and gain wifi capability through it.

Hello，

 

Did you want to connect the TL-PA7017P KIT to an old wifi router then extend the wifi signal from TL-PA7017P KIT? If so, it can't be used in this way.

 

For the TL-PA7017P KIT, this unit doesn't have wifi function.

 

But TL-WPA8630P has wifi function, so you can use this device to extend the wifi signal.

 

Note: The model begins with TL-PAxx doesn't support wifi function.

The model begins with TL-WPA xx supports wifi function.
