@Libarch

There is an updated firmware file available, no notes supplied as I don't use the tplink anymore so cannot test it but others following may do.

@Libarch

yes my mistake the 2800 one released 03/11/2020 - no supporting notes so could just be a security fix

@Libarch

Well, the latest release works with Plusnet here in the UK so thank you to TP-Link for addressing the problem and to everyone on this and similar threads pushing for a fix. No problems so far although the download speed is a bit below what I normally get but this could be down to Christmas demand with people at home streaming movies and so on.

If there's anything worth reporting on this version then I'll post an update.

Let's see how long before the final (non-beta) version is released.

@Libarch

A new version of the firmware for the VR2800 has now been released - Archer VR2800(EU)_V1_201104

All good so far. Seems to be responsive and works with Plusnet in the UK. Thanks to the folks at TP-Link and hope this version works for everyone.

Hi,

Any updates on this? I have the same issue on my VR900. It looks like a fix has already been pushed out for the VR2800/VR600. Can we get the same treatment?

Regards,

S

@sjpt4x

Thank you very much for all your kind feedback.

We have already reported the feedback about the Archer VR900 to the senior engineers already and they would release a new firmware to fix this issue very soon;

If there is any further news about the firmware, I would update it here as soon as possible.
