Deco M9 - firmware Deco M9 Plus(US)_V2_1.4.2_200821 (released 9.11.2020) - Unable to upgrade

First off, I'm unwhelmed with the features of the M9. The fact that I can't disable WPA for WPA2 (or even WPA3 at this point!) is disappointing. I'm not sure how TPLink can sell this under the premise of "security" but it sure isn't.
Anyway, I saw that Deco M9 Plus(US)_V2_1.4.2_200821 was just released yesterday (9.11.2020). I've attempted to upgrade firmware BOTH on the webpage and via the firmware utility but it never actually upgrades. Anyone else having this issue?
I'm doing the process correctly as I was able to upgrade to my current firmware successfully.

Actually, this Deco M9 Plus(US)_V2 (this should be V1)_1.4.2_200821 (released 9.11.2020) is the latest firmware for Deco M9 Plus V1 not for V2, but our web admin made a small mistake previously and we have amended it already, you may confirm again:
