You haven't replied to my question.

Installing the beta version will void the warranty?

 

I'm really upset with my TL MR 100 router.

 

The speed is really slow when compared with mobile.

Mobile gives around 40-45Mbps.

Whereas MR100 provides only 7-15Mbps.

 

Network reception is very low in MR100. I have lot of observations. MR100 disappointed in all aspects.

 

I bought the TL MR100 offline store. I don't know what to do.

I wanted to try Archer MR600.

 

Is there any way I can exchange MR100 and Upgrade to MR600?

I'm ready to pay extra cost but in the end I want quality product not the poor one.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

Updating the beta firmware released by TP-Link would not void the warranty since it would be rolled back to the official firmware;

As for exchanging the model, I am afraid that you might need to check with the local shop retailers since there might be different warranty policy in different places;

I have few concerns with beta version.

 

Here is my observation.

 

1. When 4G signal is dropping from 75% to 50% at that time internet disconnecting. (4G only selected also band 40 is selected)

2. Band selection not available in 3G mode. I have 100% signal strength on 3G mode. but beta version doesn't allow to select.

3. HSPA+ available in my phone. but in TL MR100 only WCDMA mode is showing. (slow speed as well)

4. How to switch to HSPA+ ? because TL MR100 claims it can support UTMS/HSPA+.

 

I have a few more questions.

Why TL MR100 version doesn't support carrier aggregation for LTE-A? 

What are the complication of supporting carrier aggregation?

I facing too much frequent disconnection with TL-MR100. I have not received any support. Do I have to visit a service centre or not?

I figured out something very weird but useful today. I took one of my antenna out from the router (the left one ) and the fluctuations has gone since. I mean when I have 2 antennas the Db is : +6 , +10 , -15 etc . never stable. However when I take the left antenna out it is + 20 db fixed ;) Not more fluctuations. Can you make an explanation for this . It works great with 1 antenna now =) try to see it with your own eyes.
