Hello, the Archer VR2100 belongs to a different product category, it is suggested to discuss this on the correct sub-forum. While we can confirm that there is no ETA we can provide to you when the new firmware will allow you to disable the Onemesh feature, it is suggested to pay your attention to the official website, thanks.

@Kevin_Z

Dear Kevin!

I have same problem like the first poster.

Buying C2300 V2 EU with the latest firmware and i have two hidden wifi network (onemesh) that can't be switched off.
I saw the problem (and the last firmware) almost one year old. (I read your detailed thread about this problem with other models.)
Is there any hope in this year for a new (C2300 V2 EU) firmware where onemesh can be switched off?

OR
I see the C2300 V2 US version firmware not contain onemesh, but contain homecare.
Any hope to Tplink release this firmware to EU?

Thanks in advance!

@Merida

We explained what is the hidden network in the story here, and we have another thread providing a solution to disable it if you require to do so. However, there is still no updated news whether or when there will be a new firmware for the Archer C2300 to disable the Onemesh hidden network, it's suggested to keep an eye on the thread we created, we will update it once there is a new firmware for that:

[Solution] Disable Onemesh Hidden network

What affect will turning off Onemesh have on connected devices? I am having trouble with a device losing connection since the recent firmware update and suspect that the hidden SSID with Onemesh is causing the problem. I'm thinking of turning Onemesh off, but do not want to screw things up. I have no mesh routers. Just the one.

When will you add Hidden network On/off switch for Onemesh ? why don't you do it, while people asking this for a year now ? why you treat us like fools ?

I have an Archer A7 V5. SW version 1.1.4 Build 20211122 offers the option of turning off Onemesh. I turned it off and rebooted, yet I'm still seeing the hidden network.

@Dave-D

These hidden networks could be emitted from another devices on your network.

You can determine what hardware vendor they belong to by their MAC addresses.
