I bought a Archer T6E to connect at 5GHz on my Tenda nova MW3 (Windows 10/64bit), but it is only connect at 2.4Ghz. I already read all the posts about this problem and try to fix the problem, but anyone works well.

@Davigc

Hello,

May I know what is the current Windows version of the computer, 1909, or 2004? You may verify it as below:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/

Were you unable to detect any 5ghz or just your own one?

How about the 2.4ghz network, does it work properly?

What is the model number of your home router? Try to change different 5ghz wireless channels, such as 36/40/44/48.

Try to update the following driver if none of the above helps:

How to install the driver: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/920/

@Kevin_Z , my windows version is 10 PRO - 19042

The problem is not to detect, because i´m using a mesh network and it shows only one network. My 2.4ghz work well, but my sun use this computer to play online and i think 5Ghz will work better.

I use a Tenda nova MW3 and i can´t force a channel. After a lot of tried configurations, i got to configure, but i didn´t understand the real configuration.

I´m using this driver that you shows at the message.

@Davigc

How many devices in your house need to connect to the 2.4GHz network? Is it possible to disable the 2.4GHz network and only leave the 5GHz one, then confirm if you can connect to the 5GHz?

Or, you may check if you can enable a guest 5GHz network, check if the Windows 10 can connect to the guest 5GHz.
