Deco M4 firmware downgrade
Deco M4 firmware downgrade
Hello!
I am a Deco M4 owner for more than one year. I was very happy with them: I had a very stable mesh network that didn't need any restart for almost one year. However, this summer I received an update that screwed everything up. Since that update, my mesh network is very unstable, with frequent disconnections. I'm a patient man, I waited and hoped that new firmware updates will solve the issue, but they didn't. I really need to downgrade to an older version. Any version released in 2019 will do. However, on the support page, I can only find the last 3 releases, and all of them aren't working properly for me.
I have 4 Deco M4 routers, running in AP mode:
Deco#4 )))((( Deco#3 )))((( Deco#1 --- Main Router )))((( Deco#2
I don't need Guest network, I don't need Google Assistant, I just need a stable and simple wireless mesh network.
How can I downgrade to an earlier firmware version?

Hi, since firmware 1.5.2 is just released for less than a month, I did not get feedback about the unstable issue.
And the original ports are talked about firmware 1.5.0 and below.
So We think your feedback is very valuable.
If you do not mind, I hope you could help me get more details about the unstable issue, such as:
1. Did main Deco become unstable, or satellite units? And would they turn red?
2. May I know who is your internet service provider?
3. how about your internet connection type, dynamic IP, or PPPoE?
Thank you very much.
Update:
Please refer to How to Downgrade Deco
Best regards.
