M7650 failed to upgrade FW
Hello, Im trying to update my M7650 via usb from 1.1.6 Build 180723 Rel.1022n to newest firmware available - M7650(EU)_V1.1_201110
receive this message
"Update failed. The update file is not suitable for the current firmware."
My Device info
Model: M7650
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 180723 Rel.1022n
Hardware Version: M7650(EU) v1.1

Given that the MiFi device doesn't tell there is a new firmware and you need to download it by hand, I am wondering if that upgrade works for anyone.
There aren't a lot of reports because:
- most people won't bother upgrading
- most people won't try manually if auto says there is no update
- most people won't post to forums to say it failed
Just my 2¢
That said, I manually flashed 1.1.8 and it works just fine. However, if you don't have windows, it's a little bit tricky to upgrade.

Unfortunately, I cannot share it because he asked me to not do it.
When you get it, if you need to know how to flash it from linux or macos, feel free to ask.

I don't think it's corrupted, just that it doesn't work on M7650 because of some kind of checksum code in the archive. Maybe it works on an M7350 or something.
