I have a 40 Mbps connection. So is it ok to work on the current settings as you checked in the snapshot or do I need to change it.

If you subscribed to only 40 mbps then it's OK, but your ISP could tell you if its equipment port speed is 100 mbps or 1000 mbps. If it's 1000 mbps then that's a problem you have to solve.

Correct. The ISP equipment on the other end of the cable, which your C6 router is connected to.

One more thing you could test - disable IPv6, reboot the device and test again.

@Shanky2201 If your problem was like mine (wi-fi disconnects and you hear the plug/unplug sound), then you'll have to uninstall the driver you downloaded from tp-link website and use the generic one microsoft provides in windows. Apparently, both drivers try to overwrite one-another, which is what caused the problem for me. Using the microsoft generic driver worked alright for me. No more disconnections.
