Model: Archer TX3000E
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi there,

I purchased an Archer tx3000e for my sons PC today, plugged into PCIe port (x4) and installed drivers from website, and nothing is recognised at all.

I removed the GPU which was blocking the x1 PCIe port and plugged that into the x4 to test if it was working, the port works but the adapter still didn't work in the x1.

Tested separate f_usb too and both ports are functional.

I went through the bios but could not see the adapter in there anywhere. The motherboard is not WiFi so shouldn't be clashing.

Cannot think of anything else that would cause issues!

Has anybody experienced this? Or did I just get a dud adapter?

Thank you in advanced

Craig

@CraigBev Good day,

Thank you for your detailed info, if you have tried  PCIE x1 / x4 and both does not work, please start  your Windows PC in safe mode and see it could be detected.

If still the same problem, it is recommended to use a computer with a different motherboard to exclude the issue.
