Hi, It will be a newer version that includes fixes based on feedback on 1.6.0 beta.
As for the release date, actually, I see the official firmware 1.6.0 is ready but the internal software review process has not been finished yet.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

@David-TP so the last time TP-Link responded to beta test findings, not that long ago, there where lot's of major bugs unresolved. Will this release big a big-bang-release? If I install this 1.6.0 when it is there, are there options to roll back to 1.5.7?

@Wizman Hi, Deco M9 plus is not included yet.
JanRekenaar It can not be downgraded back to 1.5.7 either, like beta 1.6.0.

Thank you for your reply. Frustrating to hear that M9 plus users are not covered by the update. I find the wifi connection slow for the M9 plus 3 meshes. A very inefficient costly product.

@David-TP when is this planned for the M9 Plus? Crazy to think a more expensive device won't get the update that will allow it to properly use the extra hardware! I have 3 units and my third takes signal from the main rather than the secondary unit which has better signal as it's closer to the main unit. Extremely frustrating.
