I have problems with TL-WA901N.

Operation mode is Client.
Main router (AP for TL-WA901N): TLWR941N

All devices are wired, connected through switch, connected to LAN port of TL-WA901N. Everything seems to be OK - internet, media streaming (wirelessly to TV),... until I try to transfer larger file (300 MB up) from/to my notebook, or other device connected wirelessly to Main router. I mean transfer file from/to notebook to/from PC, which is connected to TL-WA901N by wire. After a while TL-WA901N loses wireless connection. Need to reboot it manually, or to reboot the Main router to establish wireless connection again.

I think I tried everything in setup, but can't figure it out, where's the problem, so far.
I set static IP for TL-WA901N within the same subnet with main router. I set up the same gateway as on main router.

Please help.

Forgot to add. I tried to setup it in different operation modes - Repeater, Universal Repeater, Bridge with AP.

With the same result.

I have the exact same issue! I have been searching without success for an answer and would greatly appreciate a suggestion for solving this!

I am having the same issue, as well, on two different TL-WA901ND at a couple of my satellite office locations. Very inconvenient for end users. Tried the same steps as the OP, to no avail. It would seem that they are in need of a firmware patch from TP-Link. I am running the latest firmware, I may try downgrading it though to see if that changes anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I have now replaced the TP-link with an AP from Linksys and for little over one week now it has been running without problem.
