Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0.7 Build 20200831 rel.59087 (US)

I have old HP Laserjet M1005 MFP which is used at my office. The printer has only USB way of connection and use it on Network share. I have already old router of TP Link Archer C1200 which has USB and Print Server support. I went to download TP-Link USB Printer Controller Utility and already have downloaded Print Drivers on my system running Windows 10 and HP also has official driver list. Is there any way TP Link add supports for it ?

Hi @TandelK 

Thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to reply you late. Forum has been busy recently. 

If you have any difficulty to make your printer work with our router, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

 

Step1: Test printer driver is successfully installed on PC

Please make sure your PC can print when it is connected directly to the printer.

 

Step2: Check if router detect printer 

When you connect printer to our router via USB cable, please login to router web management page, go to Advanced>>USB Sharing>>Printer Server>>chck if our router successfully detect the printer

 

Step3: Finish the rest configuration

  @Kevin_Z The router for some reason doesnt detect the Printer. I will still try it again and create a complete video just for troubleshooting purposes and update it here again.
