ARCHER MR600 doesn’t work in USA
Hi there.
so I bought my archer MR600 in France.
I crossed the Canada and the modem worked well with my French card sim and with different local sims.
But I just arrived on the USA and now it doesn't work anymore ! Not with my French SIM card neither with a local sim I tried everything and I don't know why. I have a internet status : disconnected.
If someone can help on it ?
thanks

Hi, please check network type and band on Advanced->Status page, if it shows No Service, please confirm the network type and band supported by the USA mobile network operator, then check if it matches with the MR600.
Here is the supported network type and band of MR600:
4G: FDD-LTE: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28 (2100/1800/850/2600/900/800/700 MHz)
TDD-LTE: B38/B40/B41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)
3G: DC-HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS: B1/B5/B8 (2100/850/900 MHz)
By the way, our MR600 or other similar products don't sell in USA because most 4G bands of USA operators don't match with MR600, so I guess that is why your device doesn't work in USA as well.

hi Sunshine and thank you very much for your quick answer.
so I've checked my French card sim and the us card sim have a B5 so it works with the modem.
I agree you don't sell this modem in US but neither in Canada and I managed to get it to work so I don't see why not here !

Hi,
I suggest you browse to "www<dot>cellmapper<dot>net". (I can't post external links here so you need to replace <dot> with .)
There you can view the cellular coverage in the US on a per-band basis.
You will notice that coverage on band 5 is rather sparse. But check for yourself if band 5 is available at your location with your cellular carrier.

Hi there, thanks very much for your answer and you were right, the bands here are different of the tp-link I have.
Do you sell another Tp-Link as I have here in USA ?
thanks very much

Hi, thanks for the reply. However, I am afraid our 4G routers are not available in the US as we don't have US version 4G routers, you could consider to check on Amazon US site to find some other 4G devices available in the local market.
