Hi - I understand this router is an ISP provided device, BUT I am no longer with that ISP, but would still like to use this device. 

 

Could you please provide an open firmware for this device?

Hi, The Archer VR1600v is strictly an ISP model, and the only way to get one is to sign up with an ISP that offers this model. So there hasn't been a plan for the open firmware.

The basic network configuration might still work with your new ISP. Most cases I have received are related to missing advanced features, such as VOIP and IPsec VPN.
