  @zexoni70

At this time you can't access the satelite devices via a browser.

I use an Archer C80 as my main router, from the firmware update screen it lets me update the firmware on the satelite devices all from the one screen.

BT Full fibre 500, 1x M9 Plus V2 and 1x X60 V3.2 in AP mode connected to Archer C80.

  @klipse

You're right, my mistake, I didn't see it, there is a firmware update in the section of the main router for each router in satellite mode! wink

Dear @Kevin_Z

Just to correct that every router in satellite mode shows and broadcasts the guest network, and everything will be extra!

If I can make a proposal to exclude the guest network from Whitelist access control via MAC address, that would make things much easier, because then everyone who comes as a guest for a few hours could access the network without having to disable and turn off Access Control every time! smiley

  @Kevin_Z  When do you update Ethernet Backhaul for Archer AX53?
Now my main router is AX73. And I can't move AX53 to closer to AX73.
But I have a wire from AX73 to AX53.
Hope to get it soon.

Hi  @zexoni70,

I have an AX73 v2 (EU). May I know which url you used to download the firmware?

  @Kevin_Z

Hi Kevin,

Im trying to set up easy mesh with two Archer C80(US). I have one Version 1.0 which i have upgrade the firmware to support easy mesh.

My second unit is a version v2.20. it is on firmware Version: 1.11.5 Build 220627. The tether app tells me that my firmware is up to date. But with the current firmware, i do not see an option for easymesh or changing it to a satellite unit.

I live in Singapore and from the support center in my region i can only see and download firmware from C80 Ver1.0. https://www.tp-link.com/sg/support/download/archer-c80/#Firmware

. However from this thread i see that v2.20 is supported for easymesh and i also see the firmware available on the US website.

Is there any way i can update the firmware of my v2.20 C80? FYI, I tried downloading and installing the US firmware but it was not successful.

Or do i have to find another version 1.0 in my region?

Thanks,

-G

  @Avelox

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-ax73/v2/#Firmware

This is the link to the latest firmware for the AX73 V2.0 EU models, where the EasyMesh function is now enabled!

Hi,

I suggest you check the label on the router another time and verify it does indeed read "Model: Archer C80(US)  Ver:2.20".

If it does, then maybe try to upgrade from 1.11.5 to a (US) 1.12.x version first and in case that works, then either stay with it or continue upgrading to (US) 1.13.x.

I think at this point only TP-Link support would be able to help you further. Maybe there is a bug in this particular firmware version 1.11.5.
