Hi!

My newly bought adapter provides me only with around half possible speed available through WiFi.
Full internet speed is 600 Mb/s. Through WiFi on phones or laptops - speedtests shows around 560-580 around the home, also in place where desktop with adapter sits.

Speed through adapter varies between 250 to 300. I've installed correct (v2) drivers from tp-link pages, turned off antivirus to check if it's blocking something (nope), I'm out of ideas how to solve this.

OS is WIn10, freshly updated.

  @Raevell

Hi, have you checked the wireless link speed Archer T4U:

How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

Please also install the wireless driver here to see whether it made any difference:

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Thank you for fast answer! link speed is set at possible max - 866 Mb/s I've installed these drivers, no visible upgrade to anything. My router from ISP is using WiFi 6 protocols and have 2 separate networks - for 2,4GHz and 5GHz. I'm ofc connecting via 5GHz one. Did some research - my PC is a little old now. MB is on LGA1150, DDR3 era. Is it possible that it's somehow not fully compatible with WiFi 6 and newest protocols and there lies my problem?
