I have the latest Apple MacBook Pro with M2 Pro chipset. It is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E module.

 

I have also just bought TP-Link Deco XE200, which is a Wi-Fi 6E mesh router.

 

My Wi-Fi network is only showing the regular "Deco" network, which includes 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz. It is not showing "Deco_6GHz", although 6GHz band is switched on in the router.

 

My router's current firmware: Deco XE200(EU)_V1_1.0.1 Build 20220810

 

I live in Middle East, Kuwait.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

I think 6ghz hasn't been allowed in Kuwait yet.

Good day Mr. David,

 

Wi-Fi 6E officially launched in Kuwait in August 2022. The official announcement by the Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) in Kuwat was released on 1st of August 2022. I'm trying to attach the article with this reply but the website is not allowing me to.

 

The issue that I'm facing is.. When I first setup Deco XE200, "Deco_6GHz" was showing in my Wi-Fi network. I was able to connect to it, but I lost connection few minutes later and network only showing "Deco", which is 2.4 + 5 GHz. 

 

I tried to reset the router, 6 GHz band was enabled again but it disappeared again few minutes later.

 

Moreover, my friends, who own latest iPad Pro and/or Samsung Galaxy phones are, are able to connect to 6 GHz with their Wi-Fi 6E enabled routers.
