c320ws camera keeps spotlight on all the time
The camera keeps the spotlight on 24 hours despite trials to change night shooting mode or manual, switching the spotlight off (it returns to ON after desired time). Help!!! It used to work fine for a week. The Android app hangs up when adjusting the spotlight brightness while iOS seems to work fine.

Hello, thank you for the feedback. Does the white light turn off immediately if you turn it off manually (Click the light bulb icon on the liveview page) or change to night mode? Or it will turns back on after a certain time (Is it a fix time period, like 10mins, 1 hour, etc)?

@Wayne-TP
Thank you for your message. The spotlight does not turn off at all anymore. I can see the time counter in that app when I try to switch it off (the latest BETA version is super cool), but the light remains on. This could be a reason night mode never turns on automatically. When I switch manually to night mode, the light stays on even black & white infrared manner starts. I cannot also change spotlight brightness anymore, and when I try to switch off the spotlight from that setting window, the whole app on my Android hangs up ;(
Most of my TAPO devices run in the JST time zone, and only that camera with two switches (they work perfectly) are in the CET time zone, but I hope that is not an issue.

Can you factory reset the camera for a try? Note: Backup the videos to the PC first if there is anything important.
Do you have another C320WS? Or another Tapo camera with a spotlight? Does it have the same problem?

@Wayne-TP I have another C320WS with zero problems but several thousand kilometers away. I guess factory reset is only possible in person by pushing a switch and reinitializing the camera from scratch, which I could do in several months. In meantime I will pray for a firmware update which possible could serve as such a remote reset.

You can try to reboot the camera from the APP and see if that helps. (Camera settings->move to the bottom, Reboot Camera)
There is also a Remove Camera option which can reset the camera, but the installation needs to be onsite. We can't tell if it is a firmware or hardware issue so far, the problem can be identified quickly if you have the device on your hand.
