Beta Software [Closed]Public Beta Release to Improve OpenVPN Performance on Archer AX73/AX55
Great news! We are so excited to share a public beta version of firmware for Archer AX73 V1 with the community, which has proven to improve the overall OpenVPN performance. If you're using the OpenVPN feature on your AX73, don't hesitate to upgrade and install this beta firmware to try it out.

Archer AX73(US/TW)_V1_1.2.6 Build 20230607 (public beta release)
Archer AX73(EU)_V1_1.2.6 Build 20230621 (public beta release)
Archer AX55_V1_1.2.6 Build 20231030 (new public beta release updated on Nov 2, 2023, which also adds EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, ECO Mode, DoT&DoH, etc.)
Notes:
1. Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding!
2. You can still upgrade to the official firmware if there is any.
3. Some new features would not be available when the router works in Access Point mode.
4. This public beta firmware for Archer AX55 can be applied to all versions (EU/US/JP/TW/etc.).
Improvements and Modifications:
- Optimized the overall OpenVPN performance.
- Upgraded OpenSSL to version 1.1.1t.
- Fixed several bugs related to OpenVPN.

@IKr i have 2 sets of speed test resullts 18 mb & 546 mb beween andriod 13 & windows 11
there appears to issue with the firmware affects streaming not providing bandwith to the andriod devices andriod 12
this is major issue has anuone else seen this with there ax73

I'm happy to inform you that Archer AX73 V1 also supports EasyMesh now. Please check and update your router firmware to the latest 1.3.5 Build 20230919 version as below:

Please be aware that you'll not allowed to downgrade to the previous 1.2.6 official version once upgraded to this one since this version has significant modifications.

As confirmed with the developers, this 1.3.5 Build 20230919 doesn't include the OpenVPN optimization.

That was really disapointing as i have the isues the this fix would solve. Lets hope its on the agenda soon for my box

There is no newer firmware for AX73 v2 at the moment. The latest version is 1.0.11 Build 20230829.
