default admin password not working for login at web management

Hi,
I cancelled my contract with ISP, so I need to configure my new Archer C20<W> Ver. 5.0 like an access point for my other network.
I wanted to access the router to change the settings.
In my browser I go to 192.168.0.1 and get the tp-link logon screen.
According to my quick start guide both the username and the password should be "admin" but the password is not accepted by the way there is only one slot asking for the PASSWORD directly (it doesnt asks for USER and PASSWORD, only PASSWORD)
I tried resetting the router by pressing the RESET button 10 seconds (as stated in the manual). "admin" as password is still not accepted.
I tried resetting the router by pressing the RESET button 30 seconds . "admin" as password is still not accepted. (even with the 30-30-30 rule no luck)
it still asks for PASSWORD that its not admin nor user nor support (common defaults here)
I am at a total loss here.
