  @David-TP

Just got one of these adapters in.  I have an archer BE500 with 2.4, 5, 6ghz and an MLO network (set to use 5 and 6ghz).   My previous intel be200 adapter, when connecting to the MLO network would utilize both 5 and 6 ghz, but the TBE550E only seems to ever utilize the 5ghz network for MLO.

Any ideas?  Do I need to open a support ticket?

The chipset in this product, MT7927, only supports 2.4ghz + 5ghz/6ghz mlo. It does not support 5ghz + 6ghz mlo. Therefore, the MLO function of this product cannot be used on BE550, which does not support Wi-Fi 7 at 2.4ghz.

Well hell, that would have been nice to know -before- buying the card.  Nothing seemed to indicate it did not support 5+6Ghz MLO

Guess it's going back to Amazon.

  @ssrjazz Yes, to use mlo on be550, it is better to look for a wireless LAN card with QCNCM865 chipset. It supports 5ghz + 6ghz mlo.

I'll just get another intel be200 with a nice big heatsink on it. My previous one didn't have one so the signal would drop quite a bit when it got warm. I know intel be200 adapters can do 5+6ghz MLO because I was already doing it. Unfortunately, OEM manufacturers like TP-Link aren't very forthcoming with the actual chipsets used in their products in the marketing material.

I'm using this adapter for some weeks and noticed one hick-up on my system. The bluetooth disappears once in a while (disappears in my system tray). It just dropss and pops up again after a few seconds. It's anoyning because my MX Master mouse looses the connection. Any idea to trouble shoot this? Thanks in advance

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

How often did you usually experience this issue-"The bluetooth disappears once in a while (disappears in my system tray). It just dropss and pops up again after a few seconds"? multiple times per day?

It is suggested to check whether the bluetooth cable of the TBE550E is properly connected to the motherboard(might change to another 9 pins F_USB port) and try to disable other bluetooth adapters if there are any.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Hi,

Thanks for your reply. It happens several times a day. I don't have another bluetooth adapter, I removed it before installing the TP-Link one. I'm prity sure all is well connected but if I find some time, I'll check and try another port.

edit : the other possibility (problem) might be my Logitech MX mouse. I've disabled it and now I'm using a different bluetooth mouse (Microsoft) and see how this goes.

Edit 2 : Just had another quick drop so the mouse isn't the problem.

Edit 3 : Just removed the card, checked the cable and plugged it back in (cable in different usb_port) Let's see how it goes.
