MicroSDcard seems to have abnormal expansion capacity

I am using sandisk 128gb xc1 card format with fat32 type.
I am facing an issue after the fw upgrade where the card has stopped working and tapo app shows an error saying MicroSD card seems to have abnormal expansion capacity. Card was working fine earlier.
I have tried everything that is discussed earlier in the community pages like hwtest, reformat, reinsert, even tried to format 32gb only but I have wasted enough time. I can see 256 placeholder files are created on the card but no recording.
I am of the opinion that there is definitely and issue with the FW.
Would appreciate any kind of help here.
Thanks

TP LINK,
Whats your solution here? Even if we run the h2test. its the same. Tried to reformat it using other applications and your tapo cctc wont recognize the 512SD card for tapo c200 or c310.
You better have a fast solution for this issue. It seems that you guys from tp link is preventing the 512 to be used by the users. But in your manual, 512gb is accepted by most of your cctv's

all people complain of this "abnormal expansion capacity error". tp-link only gaslights and say the problem is your sdcard may be fake.
However, everyone with this error so far has a new firmware update in common.
So what is it more likely to be? A firmware update or all our different sdcards are fake?
My c210 was working fine for over a year. After firmware update it stopped recording. I could see a month of videos stored on the card. After trying to format the card using the app, it failed. Old videos were erased and card is still unuseable in the camera.
