Seems like a discussion at least 4 years old, so shame on me for not checking before I bought...but is there any interest in this feature?

 

With virtual MAC addresses, my system is now redundant, as my kids just bypass the parental controls at will...what a waste of money!

 

The feature is simple, approve any new connection through the app? Not rocket science?

HI, Welcome to the community.

Some models have added WiFi Access Control already, such as Deco X50.XE75_V1, Deco X20/Deco X60_V4. The similar feature is also planned to be added to other models later. However, there hasn't been an ETA for a specific model.

i have some PX50 and M4R...so not sure how this differs from X50?
