Hey

I have just installed a new Deco Mesh Modem Router. All working ok. My question relates to an existing TP Link Range extender, AC1750, Model RE450. I was told in store that even though the Deco is a mesh system I could still use the Router as required. I want to know whether this is correct and how to establish a connection. On the previous router I had pushed a WPS button. Thanks Simon

PS Not sure on hardware version number or where to find that

Hi

There is a small reset hole on the extender. Please use a pin to press the reset hole for 1 second to reset the extender.

Then you may connect your PC/phone to the Range Extender's default Wi-Fi "TP-Link_Extender_XXXX", open the browser and access http://tplinkrepeater.net or http://192.168.0.254, follow the quick setup procedures to setup your Range Extedner.

This FAQ provides detailed instruction through web interface: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1400/

Please note that the extender should be placed next to the router during configuration.

Good day.
