I have just purchased this adapter and I thought it was working really well. It was to replace a RealTek wireless adapter 2.4GHz only on my desktop (on the motherboard). I've had great speeds with the new T3U Nano, but now it keeps dropping out - seems to be offline more than it is online. I have searched the web for possible solutions and there are a number of threads but none seem to offer a full solution. I have downloaded drivers from some of these threads but still the same problem.

 

HP Pavilion Desktop

Windows 10 64 bit

Modem TPLink Deco X73-DSL

 

I tried adjusting the adapter interface to connect to 2.4GHz only, but that didn't help. Have reset it to Auto.

 

Current driver version 1030.44.531.2021

  @Joseph-TP Thank you. I've undertaken the actions mentioned in option 2 and am monitoring the effectiveness of them.

  @Joseph-TP The adapter still drops out. It is great when it works but the drop outs are intolerable\

I think I am going to take it back. What's the use of a wifi adapter that decides to drop out all the time?
