Hello,

 

I'm trying to identify a way to improve the 2.4 GHz connectivty as the automaticaly selected channel is creating, or subsceptible to interfrances.

 

Can the channel and / or the frequency be changed?

 

This is in a similar lines with: [do not buy deco for your health] WiFi optimization is driving interference worse. - Home Network Community (tp-link.com)

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Deco doesn't support manually changing the wireless channel yet. You might still need to run network optimization once to see whether it helps re-select the 2.4GHz channel.

Are there plenty of smart IOT devices connected to the Deco Mesh system?

Have you experienced any issues that might be related to the 2.4GHz wireless interference?

Hello, Network Optimization doesn't seem to change the channel and considers that to be the best choice every time. There are a couple of IOT devices, a printer, a smart plug and a TV, but otherwise there's Raspberry PI and an older Laptop that both struggle to connect and reach decent speeds.
