@bengmau For me AX90 is running satellite router to my BE550. In this config I find that the AX90's WIFI becomes unstable after about... 1.5 months of use with the BETA firmware. It will just lose connectivity to internet. A remote reboot command from the BE550 however will restore stability. I'm not having WIFI issues as frequent as others. The 1.5 months is not unreasonable but a firmware update to either on the BE550 or the AX90 would be nice however to:
- obviously solve any stability issues here and/or:
- Allow for scheduled reboot of the satellite router from the BE550 -->AX90 or
- allow for direct login to the AX90 to direct diagnose issues. In satellite mode I cannot login to the AX90. I can only remote control it from the BE550 or physically reboot it (power cycling)

@Kevin_Z I have been using the beta firmware for some time now, EasyMesh is very unstable. I am using Ax90 as a satellite/secondary. My Primary Router is XX530V GPON ONU and I also have a 2 range TPLINK Wifi 6 Range Extenders. AX90 disconnects frequently from XX530V and the other extenders remain connected to AX90. Sorry if you are offended this setup turned out to be whole home mess. I wanted to go back to stable Firmware and I got an Upload error. Left with no options, I am now running AX90 in AP Mode using a long cable. Could you please suggest which firmware can we downgrade/Upgrade to? Or is there any information/ETA on the stable release. Please let me know if you need any logs or details. I would be glad to provide those.
Sorry to hear that the provided beta firmware is not working properly with your XX530V in EasyMesh mode. If you want to downgrade to the previous official version 1.1.13 Build 20240509, please follow this guide.
However, if you could provide more details about the behaviors you're experiencing with the beta firmware, we would be happy to investigate further.
1. Is the AX90 connected to the XX530v via Ethernet cable? How far is the distance between them?
2. When you experience any disconnections, what is the LED status on the AX90? How about its status being displayed on the XX530v's web interface? Does it show offline or online? It's suggested to go through this troubleshooting guide to clarify or correct the situation.

I installed the beta version to test the easy mesh, and it worked. The bad thing is that now every time 5 hours pass, my router overheats and restarts by itself, or the Wi-Fi restarts by itself or my internet completely goes out, and I don’t know what to do. I would like to go back to the old version I had which was much more stable :'( since I am suffering a lot with this update, does anyone know how to help me?
@greedxD Does this overheating or restarting issue occur when you're using the previous official version?
Could you please clarify and provide the detailed network topology?
If you haven't tried resetting the router to its factory defaults yet after installing the provided beta firmware, please give it a try and observe whether it corrects the unintended behaviors.

I’ve also experienced instability with this firmware — the Wi-Fi randomly acts up, although it hasn't happened in a while. Considering it's been over 7 months without any updates, I believe this product and its software are in limbo — effectively end-of-life.
Hello @ajcorrea, I will have the same suggestions for you as I just responded to greedxD.

Hello @bengmau, can you please check my response to Fazali-Illahi and provide more details?
Currently, some models already support WebUI in EasyMesh Satellite/Agent mode, providing functions like LED control, reboot, firmware upgrade, and more features, such as Archer BE550 V1. However, this is not supported on the AX90 yet.

@Kevin_Z , so what is the plan for new firmware?
Since beta version is released, then no much update.
Looking at this rate, less attention to old router like AX90, please let me know.
Thank you.

@Kevin_Z, is there any update on when the official release will be? It's been very long since the beta released

@Kevin_Z the stability issue with easymesh mode forced me to connect ax90 using a wired lan cable. Running fine since then. But i would appreciate if the easy mesh actually works on ax90. Let me know if you want me to test anything. Web ui isnt implemented for easymesh mode on ax 90

1. my ethernet backhaul length is about 15m
2. I have to double check again but I think it stays blue. Will let you know next time it acts up but it's typically stable for 1.5 months so it'll be next month.

my ax90 light is cycling between red and blue right now. However my kids and I have not noticed any degradation of the WIFI or LAN where the satellite router. However it's been about 1.5months.
I was going to remote reboot it. Do you want me to do anything because I checked my main BE550 and there's nothing in logs or status anywhere to check on what the reason for ax90 flashing between red and blue means in easymesh satellite router mode. I cannot directly login to the ax90 and can only see/control from the be550
