Model: TL-WA1201
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.10.40 Build 240715 Rel.34137n(4555)

I just purchased a TL-WA1201 AP and found out that is has no MAC whitelist filtering but a total unusable blacklist!!!
What a stupid idea! Blacklist it totally unusable. I can't blacklist unknown MAC's. I only want to allow 3 deticated devices connect to the WLAN/AP in this area where I want to use the TP-Link.
If I don't get a comittment to aa a whitelist or replace the blacklist by a whitelist, I'll return the AP as it's unusable.
Please dont replay, that WiFI access control is a router or switch responsiblity! Fo connecting to this AP, it is a AP responsibility and a unusable blacklist is already provided.
Please fix that immedatly!

  @terziyski

I know, that it was already mentioned and complaint, but not yet properly answered and not solved. There was onaly one unqualified answer, that MAC filtering is not the responsibility of an AP. However, TP-Link has already predecessor of the model (v2) which has black and whitelist filtering and also other TP-Link models provide it. as well as other vendors.
Since the model has an unusable blacklist (what a useless idea), it is meant to filter MAC addresses but it need to be reverted from black to whitelist.
I dont know, why TP-Link has made this downgrade decison and does not provide an firmware update to fix this!?
