Model: RE655BE
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer BE805(JP)_V1_1.1.0 Build 20241025

My range extender RE655BE has some problem with MLO.Sometimes it gets faster and Sometimes it gets slower. Connecting to the separate 6GHz band is as slow as MLO.

I do not know why. Because my internet connection is 10GBs.My host router is Archer BE805.

Hi, Nice to see you again.

RE655BE EasyMesh also supports Ethernet Backhaul which means it could establish EasyMesh with Archer BE805 via an Ethernet cable.

- Did you set RE655BE as an EasyMesh extender? if yes, via WiFi or an Ethernet cable?

If RE655BE is wirelessly connected to be805, How about the distance between them?

- Does it make any difference to the speed to plug the 655BE closer(about 3~5m to the BE805)?

Can I have the model number of the mobile client that connects to the MLO network and runs the speedtest?

- If temporarily unplugging the RE655be, how much of its speed is when connecting to the 6GHz or MLO network from the BE805?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP

Hi! I am using RE655BE wirelessly. Connecting to BE805 6GHz band can get 2.7~2.8GB/s.MLO can get 2.9~3.1GB/s

I have not try to make the RE655BE close to BE805 to test the speed. It is in my second floor nearby my bedroom.

Living room(BE805)is below the bedroom. The distance may has 10~20meters?

Totally I want to say the RE655BE MLO is not stable. My mobile is Xiaomi 14T pro.

My Archer TXE70UH connect to RE655BE is stable. I do not know why.

The second picture is MLO connecting speed.

Sometimes gets faster sometimes gets    slower.Maybe first connecting to RE655BE is preparing something that make the speed slow?
