  @Bit2021

Put me down as well. I got this from my provider saying it would be able to handle bridging so I can use my own router

+1 for me too. Would be a great feature considering i have the nx200 connected to a TP Link ax5400.

Me, and some friends, also need this feature. Please bring it live.

Would be really helpful to use own router, especially for IPv6.

  @Symix

I need it to. I did not buy a 5G Router yet, but as soon as the NX200 has the bridge mode, I would buy it.

Kind regards

Hi,

Add my vote too to the bridge mode. Now i have to use the dmz setup but this will not take out the fact that it is a double nat now when i want to use my own omada (TP-Link as well) router to handle the home network. Double nat makes things more difficult and ads more lag.

I would say that you are losing customers due to this. Many will choose a 5g router that has bridge mode. I would have if i had googled it beforehand. Otherwise it is a goodlooking and perfect with external antenna option.

  @Marvin_S

I almost bought the NX200 until I read this! This is really a deal-breaker for me.

I have 2 Archer C7 routers, configured as access points and my intention was to cancel my landline Internet and replace their modem with the NX200 (in the attic). I thought I could just insert the 5G SIM card, configure the NX200 with the same SSIDs and passwords as my access points and plug their Cat5E cable into the NX200. Apparently that will not work?!

Would it be possible to configure the NX200 with a different SSID and password, then plug my access points into it and still enjoy the seamless access to both access points, while having to switch to a different SSID to connect to the NX200?

Sorry if I don’t use the correct terminology. I am far from a network expert, which is exactly why I enjoyed the simplicity of TP-link products so far. Thanks for your reply.
