Wireguard VPN Client do not pass anything on BE550 V1
Wireguard VPN Client do not pass anything on BE550 V1

Hi,
I recently bought a new TP-Link BE550 (BE9300) and replaced my old Asus RT-AC88U to be able to use wireguard client as well as OpenVPN
I searched a bit in community threads and found lots of people encountered the same problem as me, but I do not know how we should fix it (or wait for a firmware update)
same az @azdaha here: VPN Client does not work
when I set the wireguard config on the Android app, it works perfectly, but when I set it up in the router, it said "connected", but just as I add a device to it when wireguard client is on, no traffic will pass through that device anymore (not even without VPN) and I have to remove the device from the list or turn off the wireguard VPN to make it work again.
I suspected if the problem is related to VPN function itself or not, so I tested an OpenVPN connection (same as I used to use with my Asus router) and everything works fine as expected. so seems like there is something wrong with Archer BE550 Wireguard client.
please help me, I cannot refund my router, if it doesn't work, it means I spend 250$ for nothing!

@Kevin_Z So I've downgraded to your beta firmware, same problem.

@Dash6 If you're still experiencing an issue when connected to the VPN via the BE550, please provide more details, such as the type of VPN you're using on the BE550, the name of the VPN provider, and a specific description of the failure behavior when connected to the VPN.

I unfortunately have the same problem. I can connect to the network via WireGuard, but I have no internet access—although I selected "Home network & internet access" in the WireGuard server settings.

Are you able to successfully connect to the WireGuard VPN server using the WireGuard App on your local PC/Smartphone? This can ensure the WireGuard VPN server is configured correctly and allows for a connection.
What kind of WireGuard VPN server you are connecting to? Try another one if possible.
Below is a guide to get configuration files from a Wireguard service provider:

Thank you for your reply!

Yes.
I'm not sure if I understand "What kind of WireGuard VPN server you are connecting to?" correctly.
I am trying to use the BE550 as a VPN server; no other VPN server is in use.
I tested it with OpenVPN (also using the BE550 as the server, smartphone as the client), and that works. However, I would still like to get it working with WireGuard.

Is this a problem being worked on? Will there be an update, or is there another solution?

Can I please receive information on how to resolve this issue or what TP-Link is doing to address it?
