Hi,

I've just bought this router but want to use it simply as an access point at the moment - i.e. disable the router and have the main Virgin Media router perform all routing functions. I can't find a way to do this through the menus.

Thanks,
Graham

just disable DHCP which you can set in configure page
and be aware, don't use the wan port whose color is blue.

DHCP - disable

And maybe you have to change LAN address IP on router (IP conflict). Of course wired connection without port WAN in TP-link
