Hi@MInty99,

Thank you for contacting our community. Did you try the suggestions that I have sent before?

The high buffer may be caused by DNS resolution delay or network congestion. You can try the following suggestions:

Here are some for wireless client devices unstable:

1) Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.

2) Change the wireless channel into another one. You may refer to Changing Channel and Channel Width on a TP-Link Router (new logo).

3) For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.

Hi@nfddgdgdgdgdgdg & @Goshox,

May I know, is there any update for your router?

Has the high buffering issue improved? If so, can I know what troubleshooting steps you tried? If not, can you provide a screenshot of the error message?

Please also try the following suggestions:

I am having the same issue, I just want a router that works. When am on video call via watsapp at random I get connection not stable when am literally standing next to the router. Overall I can browse and stream but at random when I make video calls the connection will drop and disconnect and phone won't open a browser to show any connection to Google search engine. Yet all my other WiFi devices are fine, ont box is fine router shows connection fine no explanation mark which shows no connection so everything is fine the WiFi is not fixed on this router it needs fixing asap

I have the same problem, overall wifi seems fine but when making video calls i.e via Watsapp I get a message saying connection unstable when I am literally standing next to the router. Also 6ghzt WiFi doesn't always connect I get the following error: connection failed unable to connect to SSID. All my ssids are named differently, so no conflict there WiFi randomly drops on phone but ont box all lights are correct and the router has a solid white line indicating router is recieving connection for internet. If there is a issue it should display a explanation mark. You really need to fix this please because I can't make video calls and WiFi dropping and not connecting to 6ghzt is making my life miserable. I just want a working router. I have tried everything you said in Ur post and still the same

I regret buying this router I have nothing but issues with this piece of crap, i have tested all my hardware such as pc, Xbox, ps5 and connection wired is fine no packet loss but my phone is crapping itself when I make a video call via watsapp. I get a error message on watsapp saying connection not stable move to another location when am standing next to the piece of crap and when I do a packet loss test on my phone it has lost 100% packets and the internet disconnects and reconnects. On all my other devices I have zero packet loss wired but wireless with this piece of useless junk is another story. Other devices wireless have also packet loss, but wired zero packet losses, my internet is not the problem because wired from the same router I get zero packet losses and I tested packet loss tests over 45 times per device wired, I spent a entire day just doing pack lost tests on my wired devices because if something came up on wired devices and if there was a packet losses on a wired connection then it would be my connection to blame or a cable but wired zero packet losses, which means this junks wireless is to blame, Tplink for the love of god fix this please stop making my life miserable you won't like it if someone makes Ur life miserable. I just want to be able to connect to this piece of crap and use my phone is that too much to ask for?

  @bagmanden

I am having similar issues with the router with buffering issues and contiuous dropping of connection to TPG.

They have advised that it is a modem setting.

I have fibre to the premisis

I have a BE93000

Firmware Version
1.0.5 Build 20250520 rel.74080(4155)
Hardware Version
Archer BE550 v2.0

The device says it is up to date.
TPG and NBN indicate that the service is working correctly and that the modem is the issue.
Everyone is blaming the router and yet it is up and running. It has the latest firmware and software and connection buffering appears to be an issue.

I have tried DNS 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1
Same issue. Why would the ISP DNS be not working with the modem.
Anyway, not happy with device performance and seems like no one is prepared to assist resolve

@Chirs all tp link do give when they refer you to there so called technicians u get a beta firmware which is over a year old and doesn't even work. Then they ask to remote connect to Ur pc or laptop, guess what if u don't have one? Tough luck, they say bye bye, absolute joke, it's astonishing how tp link has become this absolute pathetic company, tplink use to be the forefront of networking now it's just a piece of crap. THIS router has so many issues of wireless disconnecting and packet loss issues yet they don't fix it. Just Google this router and watch how many bad reviews come up, it's one the most returned items on Amazon. I had nothing but issues, I was told by one of the admins here in there reply like a some what of a threat, NOT TO POST under other people's comments and replys since the posts I am replying to are not relevant and I can be banned. Yet here U are saying same issue, so TPLINK do U understand English? What does same issue mean? Then I get a tplink person on here telling me to disable a setting in the router that doesn't even exist, I literally had enough and returned this junk and replaced this router with a Asus one and guess what not a single issue. Please return the router when u can asap and don't bother trying to fix it, tplink are no help, most of there emails is nonsense just random text saying how sorry they are and how they here to help and do literally nothing. Trust me get another bran router.
