tp link tx401 yellow triangle on device manager

"I just got the TX401 V2 and downloaded the drivers for from the tp website used the autorun and let it download the drivers for the adapter. After restarting my PC, I went to Device Manager and saw a yellow triangle, and it does not work. I tried reinstalling the drivers, but that didn’t help. How do I fix this?"

It is suggested to follow troubleshooting steps below:
1. Uninstall the old drivers completely:
Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall all the old drivers related to TX401.
Restart your computer, enter safe mode (to avoid system interference) and reinstall the latest V2 driver downloaded from the official website.
2. Update the driver manually:
Right-click the device with yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager, select ‘Update Driver’ > ‘Browse Computer for Drivers’, and manually specify the folder of the downloaded V2 driver.
3. Check Hardware Installation
Make sure the network card is properly inserted into the PCI-E slot.
4. If the problem persists, update the motherboard BIOS or operating system.
4. Plug the adapter into another computer to compare.
