Unable to find Seagate One Touch on VX1800v

I bought a new VX1800V. I have attached a 5TB Seagate One Touch HDD to the USB port and when press scan it is not found in the desktop tp-link screen.
The HDD is exFat so according to information it should be compatible. I have Windows 11 Pro on a PC.
The drive is visible when attached directly to multiple PC's & Laptops.
Can anyone advise how to fix this. Google searches have not been terribly helpful.
Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, thanks for your update.
Can you share the screenshot of usb sharing setting page from the web UI?
To rule out other possible reason, it is suggested to reformat your 5TB Seagate One Touch HDD to NTFS in 4096Bytes( Allocation Unit Size)
And to better assist you, we have escalated your case to the the support engineers for further research.
Please pay attention to your email box for follow-up.

Hi, welcome to our community.
If possible, on your Windows PC, it is suggested to reformat the HDD to NTFS in 4096Bytes( Allocation Unit Size). Then you may replug the HDD to the modem router to check whether it can be recognized or not.
Thank you and best regards.

@Marvin_S Thanks for that. I had considered doing that but didn't want to as the documentation I have seen has said the ExFat format is ok.
Have you seen anything that refutes that.
I appreciate the advice and if nothing else comes up then that is what I will do.
Thanks

@Marvin_S Also, I have another Seagate HDD that is NTFS and the Modem doesn't find that either.
I'm thinking there must be a hidden setting to view them
Thanks,
Ron
