Im experiencing slow Wifi speeds from one PC to another in the network. One PC is wired to the x73-dsl and the other is using WiFi 5GHz with an Intel WiFi-6 AX201 NIC. Signal quality is full bars with a 1.9Gbps speed. I am transferring large files over 250mb over the network and fastest I have seen it transfer is 86mbps. I have completed analysis on the channel and it is using the optimal channel.

 

Is there anything that can be done with this?

Hi, have you checked the wireless link speed when the Intel PC is connected to the 5 GHz?

How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

Both X73-DSL and AX201 support 160MHz over 5GHz, and the maximum wireless link speed over 5GHz should be up to 1300 Mbps.

 

 

Can you also share more details or screenshots on how you test the local transfer speed from 5 GHz to the Ethernet connection?

By the way, you might have Deco X73-DSL for a while, and did the report issue start recently?
