I have a Cisco USC3331 supplied by EE. It works perfectly on my OLD router.


When I connect it to the TD-W8970 and make or receive a call on my mobile via the USC3331 the caller/recipient cannot hear me or it breaks up a lot.


I have tested various configurations with the equipment next to or away from each other and have worked out that the issue ONLY occurs on outgoing traffic when the gateway is plugged in to the TD-W8970.


If I have the OLD router connected to the broadband with the USC3331 attached, it works fine, even if I have the TD-W8970 powered on and right next to the OLD router and the USC3331.


This is therefore a problem with outgoing traffic from the USC3331 which only occurs when it is passing through the TD-W8970.

I really want to use the TD-W8970, it's SO much better in every respect than the old router but I need this issue solving.


Does anyone have any ideas?
