Model: Tapo C425
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Tapo C425(US)_V1.60_1.3.12 Build 250228

I recently upgraded to the latest V1.6_1.3.12 FW, and ever since I upgraded, my camer a battery is drained fast.. losing about 25% each day..There are only a few triggers of recordings.. but shows it was awake 8hrs each day!  I changed nothing except upgraded FW, and prior to this, battery would barely move for days at a time!

Anyone experience this issue?

This firmware was released about two months ago and no similar feedback so far. So we will not say this is a firmware issue unless something is discovered.

For this issue, please check whether the camera wake-up times are abnormal. You might consider switching the camera to privacy mode or relocating it indoors, directing it towards a corner with no activity. Monitor the power consumption over a few hours, half a day, or a full day during this time.

What router do you use? Please check its model, hardware, and firmware version as well.

The camera has since stablized in battery drain back to more normal.. not sure what happened why it depleted 25% per day for 3 days in a row after the FW update..
