More info on NE210 5G
Hi all,
I run a small UK, business providing 4G/5G wifi to rural premises (I.e, static caravans, holiday homes, rural buildings) I'm always on the look out for new hardware and honestly my Wifi routers are always tp-link because of their simplicity and reliability.
I'm looking for my info and personal experiance on TP-Links NE210 5G external antenna/router, there is nothing or very little on Google, Youtube or UK sales site can anyone provide more info as to why this is? is still in production, is it good and where in the UK can I purchase. https://service-provider.tp-link.com/nordic/lte-router/ne210-outdoor/
Appreciate any comments, Thank You Jason

@David-TP Thanks for the reply David, that would explain as to why it's hard to find them, I have managed to find a UK seller and received one a few days ago, I'm testing at present with 3 Network and EE and I can say I'm happy with the NE210 and it's results both with 4G & 5G networks.

Hi, welcome to the community.
As NE210-Outdoor is a service provider, some software features would be customized according to ISP requirements. This exclusive model is usually provided by ISPs to their users and can't be purchased directly from the retail channels.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

I have one of this hardware but bugs on bugs. In advance/network/mobile wan menu it says "Disconneted" all the time while is connected. After a day it drops 5G and connetc on 4g instead, only restart will help. Im on a site where 5G level is 75% SS Sinr is 16-18 db on N1.
NTP servers usable only with IP address type in not domain, So im not that happy. Its on EE network, but the hardware isnt from EE, its from an indipendent mobile broadband company who sell it with unlimited data sims. No firmware update, no any information about this router, even no forum with experiences/tricks and tips...

Just seen your post on the NE210, are you still looking for one?, I have one on stock that was used once for a site survey and then customer then decided to get Starlink instead.
Happy to sell it to you if interested.
Joe.

I also managed to get one NE210-outdoor which does not seem to be provider specific. Although i m quite satisfied with the feature set (custom ddns, ipsec, openvpn, static dhcp) and performance (250/35 Mbps DL/UL @ 4 km from the LTE antenna), it is very unstable. After 3 series of speedtest testing it systematically crashes. only solution to recover is power off/power on....
no generic firmware update available or planned ?

Hi, thank you very much for the update.
I'm afraid that NE210-outdoor is still a service provider model:

Their firmware versions will not be uploaded to the local websites.
Best regards.
