Hello there,
I am usingYosemite on OS X.
HomePlugAV is not appearing in my available networks in spite of it having been set in the Management Utility.
I can connect directly via the nearest adapter with an ethernet cable without a problem, but not via wi-fi.
Any suggestion would be great.
Cheers,
Spencer

TL-PA411KIT has no Wi-Fi function at all... You have to access internet by wired connection to it...
I think maybe you need TL-WPA4220KIT?

HI,
Sorry, I should have said that the adapters are plugged in as per the instruction manual i.e. one is plugged directly into the router and paired with the other.
I can connect to the internet with the second adapter via an ethernet cable perfectly fine.
The problem is that HomePlugAV is not showing up in my available wi-fi networks. I have allocated HomePlugAV as the network name with the Management Utility as per the instruction manual.
Is it meant to actually appear or does this adapter merely cloak onto my router name?
Thanks,
Spencer

What you said is to make powerline adapter pair up and communicate with each other.
BUT PA411KIT has no Wi-Fi function. It won't broadcast a Wi-Fi signal.
Router(LAN)---(LAN)PA411~~~~~~PA411(LAN)----PC
That's how they work.
If you need to connect Wi-Fi of powerline device, you should replace the second PA411 with WPA4220.
