TP Link 300 Mbps Wi Fi Range Extender

We bought 2 of these Range Extenders with us from UK to Bulgaria. We cannot get it connected to the system and it only shows 2 LED lights even when placed right next to the router. We have the same model at home in UK and it was so simple to connect - we just plugged it in and it was found by the system and works perfectly. We cannot get either of these to work. Even when the Extender is right next to the router it shows "Connected to internet without Wifi". Any ideas?

Hi@lrav,
Thank you for your reply.
It is recommended that you can hard reset the extender firstly: With the extender powered on, use a pin to press the RESET button for 1 second. The extender will reboot.
Once you can see the extender's default network: TP-Link_Extender. That means you have reset it successfully, please set up the extender as below:

Hi@lrav,
Thank you for contacting our community.
May I know what is the model number of your device? Please refer to How to find the model number of your TP-Link device
Provided that the Wi-Fi name and password of your router stay unchanged, the extender can automatically reconnect after a restart.
If you've changed your router or its Wi-Fi settings, you'll need to reconfigure your extender. Here's how:
1. Use a pin to press the reset hole for 1-3 seconds to reset the extender.
2. Reconnect to the extender's Wi-Fi and proceed with the setup.
