Firmware Version: 1.0.14 Build 20240415 Rel. 70264(4555)

I just installed my first WiFi router. Next, I wanted to upgrade FirmWare, however it fails, just after uploading 2 % of the software. Message is "Failed to check for new update"

Errormessage

Any idea what whent wrong? I also don't like this "fakepath".

Is your EAP model EAP653 or EAP653 UR?

 

Please make sure choose the correct model number and hardware version.

The file-name of the firmware I wanted to upload is EAP653URv1_1.2.1_[20241126-rel71511]_up_signed.bin. I also tried to use EAP653URv1_1.0.0_[20240402-rel55106]_up_signed.bin with the same result
