Model: Archer C6   Archer AX23
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hi everyone, I would like to ask for help. I have TP-Link C6 v2 and TP-Link AX 23. I used C6 as main router and AX23 as onemesh (it was setup fine already but I forget how I did it previously :') also, if I'm not wrong since the SSID name is same), but recently my AX23 won't connect to internet but my c6 was fine, so I tried to move it closer to each other but still not working, then I factory reset AX23 and try to use onemesh to connect but it is not available when my C6v2 search it in onemesh option. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance! <3

Hello @dervo, thank you for messaging me and reporting such unexpected behaviors on your AX23.

I personally fully agree with all the suggestions provided by terziyski, who is very knowledgeable about our TP-Link network stuff.

I may have one more suggestion that you can try to check whether you can still login to the web management page of the AX23 when it's in factory default mode. You can try installing the latest firmware on it again if you can. You can find the latest firmware on the website below:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-ax23/v1.20/#Firmware

If nothing helps, you may have a faulty AX23 now. It's suggested to contact our local technical support to be advised further, or to confirm whether they can help with a replacement (if it's still within the warranty period).

This should be possible if you factory reset AX23 and use the WPS method for pairing the two routers.

While pairing the routers keep them closer to each other and once done you can move the stellite to its location.

@terziyski I've tried earlier but to no avail. I think it is because of the C6 V2 isn't easymesh. Btw, I dont need to set my AX23 as satellite router in the setting first?

This has been proved possible before - to connect a Onemesh router (C6 v2 in your case) as a main router to an Easymesh router (AX23 in your case) as a satellite by the WPS method.

You have to be careful how long you press the WPS button, since it's used for disabling the router wireless radio when shortly pressed (if I am not mistaken).

You just need to have your AX23 factory reset without changing anything in its configuration.

  @terziyski

I did it and nothing happened on my AX23. I started with WPS button on my C6, it started blinking right away, but when I hold my AX23's WPS button for 2 seconds, nothing happened. But, if I hold it longer, the wifi indicator on my AX23 turned off :')

Also, I noticed that my AX23 wireless radio isn't detected from my phone/laptop, maybe it's related to previous settings (either onemesh or other). Even after full factory reset, still there's no wireless radio detected (the light indicator both 2.4g and 5g is on)

If after AX23 factory reset you can't see its wireless radio then most probably it went faulty.

This could the reason for your issue described in your initial post.

Best option is to contact your local support for further assistance.
